Inside Retail Sales:
This position is perfect for those who like interacting
with a wide variety of people, and who enjoy doing something
different everyday! Our Inside Retail Sales staff helps
customers find solutions to their needs. On any given day
this position could be called upon to help a customer design
deck, find a hinge to match one a customer already has,
or pick out a pound of nails. Training will be provided
on subjects as broad as "electrical" and as specific
as "wing nuts". If you are a quick learner, and
a high energy person this is for you!
Inside Contractor Sales:
If you have experience in the Building Materials Industry,
and enjoy working with professional contractors this is
a great opportunity for you. Our Inside Contractor Sales
team helps our professional customers with their building
projects. From a small remodel to a large home, our team
works with the builder every step of the way providing
them with expert knowledge and quality products. We often
refer to this position as the "purchasing agent for
the builder", providing the builder with what they
need, not what we want to sell them. If you like construction,
and working on projects this is the career for you!
Outside Contractor
Sales:
For those individuals with experience in the Building
Materials Industry, who like freedom in the their job,
and enjoy setting their own schedule our Outside Contractor
Sales Team could be a perfect fit. This position is directly
responsible for 10-15 professional builder accounts. While
some in-store paperwork is a necessary evil, a person in
this position should expect to spend much of their time
in the field calling on existing customers, and prospecting

Bookkeeping:
If you like numbers, but also enjoy interaction with others,
our Bookkeeping Department may be a perfect fit for you.
While this department is responsible for the typical bookkeeping
duties such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory
Control, etc... they do spend a large portion of the day
interacting with both customers and other staff members.
If you are an outgoing, friendly, customer service oriented
person our Bookkeeping Department is the place for you!
Draftsperson:
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working
with computers, and also craves social interaction with
others. Our drafting department works with our customers
to draw their “Dream House,” and with our Contractor
Department to make it a reality. Candidates should have
CAD (Computer Aided Design) experience and enjoy working
with a wide variety of personalities. Specific home building
knowledge is not required, but always a plus. If you are
an outgoing quick learner who enjoys computers, this is
the job for you!
CDL Truck Drivers:
For those individuals who enjoy working outside, being
home every night, do not require direct supervision, and
have a good driving record, this is a wonderful opportunity.
Our truck drivers operate any one of a number trucks in
our delivery fleet, delivering merchandise to our customers.
While it is not unusual to make a delivery over 100 miles
away, we make it a point to have our drivers home to their
families every night. For those who do not want to sit
behind a wheel all day, there is plenty of opportunity
for physical exercise. If you are en energetic person with
a good work ethic this is the ideal position for you.
Stock Person/Cashier:
This entry-level position is great for those seeking to
gain experience in retail. This job combines the duties
of a stock person with the responsibilities of a cashier.
On some days pricing and merchandising products on the
show floor may be your focus, while the next day could
be spent cashiering and answering phones. This is a great
opportunity to learn and develop your customer service
skills.
Project Estimator:
If you have experience in the Lumber and Building Materials
Industry, and enjoy estimating projects of all sizes our
Project Estimator position could be for you. While estimating
is a significant aspect of this job, some customer service
and sales skills will be needed.
Yard Person:
For those who enjoy working outside, and crave interaction
with others this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Our Yard Staff helps our customers load their purchases
in their vehicles and on occasion assist our Truck Drivers
with deliveries. Good customer skills and a healthy work
ethic are a must. For those who enjoy a good days work
this is for you!
